About

Bethany Llamas has been a teacher for 17 years and has taught every grade level except first grade. Throughout her career, her passion has always been bilingual education and helping English learners build the language skills and confidence they need to be successful. She currently teaches English II and Reading II at San Marcos High School, where she also serves as the Campus Language Proficiency Committee (LPAC) Chair, collaborating with teachers, students, and families to support multilingual learners. She believes every student is capable of achieving great things when given the right support, encouragement, and opportunities to grow.
